Cadet Uniforms
Each cadet is issued a uniform, which they are required to wear each week. There is no cost for any uniform pieces, but they remain the property of 812 and must be returned when the cadet ages out or is no longer a member.
Cadets are taught how to properly wear and care for their uniforms and are expected to reference the monthly calendar for the required dress each Monday evening. During the warmer months, cadets normally wear "summer dress" and during the colder season, "winter dress" is worn. On sports-nights cadets are required to wear suitable sportswear (t-shirt, shorts and running shoes).
Each cadet is responsible for the maintenance of their own uniform - this includes washing, ironing, sewing badges, and polishing boots. Cadets are taught how to perform each of these tasks for themselves during the Junior Trainer weekend each Fall.
Ordering New Uniform Pieces
When a cadet has a uniform piece that no longer fits, it is their responsibility to turn in the item to the Supply Officer and request a replacement. Once the replacement is available, the cadet will be notified to pick it up fro Supply.
Uniform pieces can be ordered by completing the form below. This is to assist the Supply Officer with ordering items that may not be available at 812 office.
